Here are some of my favorite appetizers for the holidays. These are easy and grain-free.
Paleo Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. I made these Paleo Crab Stuffed Mushrooms one night when I had a bunch of leftover mushrooms that I had to use up so they wouldn’t go bad. I love crab and had an extra can in the cabinet and it seemed like a perfect combination. I also happened to have some extra goat cheese in the refrigerator so it was meant to be. This really makes a nice appetizer for the holidays.
Pomegranate Mango Guacamole. This is a wonderful, very colorful appetizer which is perfect for this time of year with pomegranates being in season. It can be served with cut up vegetables or grain-free crackers.
Butternut Squash Hummus. This bean-free paleo hummus is a healthier version of traditional hummus. It uses butternut squash and roasted garlic. It is great if you love hummus but want a bean-free, lower carb version of it.
Paleo Crab Cakes. This recipe for Paleo Crab Cakes come from the cookbook, Mediterranean Paleo. These are delicious, grain-free and perfect for this time of year.
Deviled Eggs with Bacon and Horseradish. This deviled eggs with bacon recipe makes a perfect appetizer for a holiday party. The bacon and horseradish are a nice twist on an old classic.
