Chia Seed Recipes

These chia seed recipes are very similar to drinks sold in health food stores. Mama Chia and Synergy Kombucha are two of them.  They are wonderful, but very expensive, and a lot of them are loaded with sugar.  This post will show you how to make these drinks yourself.  Rather than making them with commercial juices that contain way too much sugar and are generally unhealthy, I have included several low sugar drink recipes to make your chia seed drink with.  These chia seed recipes are amazing and I have started drinking them every morning and it has completely regulated my digestive system.

  1. Thank you!! I’ve been wanting to make my own chia drinks for awhile. I purchased the non-GMO, organic, squeeze pouches for my son at Costco and they’re really yummy! I’m a fan of chia seeds (soaked first) in my non-dairy smoothies. Now that Spring is upon us and the fruits are available in abundance (I live in the desert), I will be making some of your recipes. YUM! =)

  2. what can be substituted for Stevia?

    • Hi Mary, You could use some raw honey in place of the Stevia. I like to use Stevia because I, and many other people, have issues with candida and dysbiosis and Stevia doesn’t feed these pathogens and it is low glycemic. But I recognize that it doesn’t work for everyone.

Any idea how long these will remain “good” in the fridge? Can a mix up a bunch good for several days?

I am disappointed to see that they all contain sweetener 🙁
How about some chia drinks without added sweetener???
